Shaelin Jornigan, otherwise known as Shebie Jeebies, is a painter, illustrator, and comic artist working out of Eugene, Oregon. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jornigan displayed an early interest in art that allowed her to explore a variety of styles and mediums over the course of her early studies. Jornigan attended the College of Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico, and completed her BFA in Drawing and Painting in the Spring of 2017. Jornigan’s abstract paintings have been shown in galleries in Albuquerque and in Los Angeles, and she was featured in New American Paintings in 2018.

During the pandemic, Jornigan’s work turned away from abstraction and became more personal. She began illustrating about life with her partner and collaborator, Max Karson. The Intimates was born in April of 2020, and continues as an ongoing facet of Jornigan’s creative practice.
